"The spirit, form and color patterns of animals intrigues me. I have attempted to capture these elements of

the "big cats" in their natural environment. Long hours of observations and sketching at the West Coast Game Park

Safari, a breeding park near my home, have given me an intimate appreciation of these powerful animals.

"The sea is like a church and friend to me. It nourishes my spirit and calms my anxious heart.

Sea lions, sea otters and coastal birds also hold fascination. The following prints are

from plein air oil paintings done with a palette knife along the California and Oregon coast."
